CDROM CONTENTS
--------------

This CD-ROM contains the contributed papers of the 27-th EPS Conference 
on Controlled Fusion and Plasma Physics, held 12-16 June 2000 in Budapest,
Hungary. Each one of these papers is stored in one PDF (Adobe Portable 
Document Format) file in directory pdf of the CD-ROM. Additionally the 
following files can be found on the CD-ROM:

start.pdf : Entry file using a link enabled PDF viewer.
start.htm : Entry file using a web browser
readme    : This file

In directory pdf:

bookcont.pdf : Contents of the proceedings
preface.pdf  : Preface 
aboutcd.pdf  : Preface to the CD-ROM
troubles.pdf : Technical information and troubleshooting tips
contents.pdf : List of papers by paper number
topics.pdf   : List of papers by topic
index.pdf    : Author index

Directory web contains the same information as the pdf directory except
the conbtributed papers. Some pages are split because their size exceeds 
the capability of some web browsers. The html files are also cross linked 
and point at the PDF files of the contributed papers

Some images of the conference events can be found in directory web/images.
To view these open the file gallery.htm in directory web.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
---------------------

To view the pdf files Acroread 4.0 or Ghostscript 6.5 is necessary. 


HOW TO USE
----------

Method 1: Open start.pdf with Acroread 4.0 and follow the links through 
the contents to the lists of papers and finally to the papers themselfs.

Method 2: Open start.htm with a web browser and follow the links through 
the contents to the lists of papers. To open the papers set the PDF viewer 
application  to ghostview (or gv)  or Acroread.
