Conference Comments
The 51th EPS Plasma Division annual conference was held from the 7th to the 11th of July 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference now follows publication issues complicated by issues of journals re-evaluating their own plagiarism rules. Despite clarification, the result was only slightly over 140 conference proceedings papers were collected from the conference and presented here.The plagiarism issues have been addressed such that the main journals have confirmed that these conference proceedings will be disregarded when considering papers submitted to those journals and we, the EPS board, expect that future conferences will return to a much higher contribution rate. We consider these submissions as a vital resource to the plasma physics research community, enabling conference attendees to refer to work they saw presented at the conference often much earlier than the time to reach a full refereed publication. We would like to thank all the participants who contributed in these complex circumstances and encourage everyone to submit such a contribution in future conferences.
Finally, in view of the low 4-page contribution paper count, the book of pre-conference abstracts has been included (see above) on this website- Note, the poster sessions for Thursday are marked "P3" and Friday "P4" rather than P4 and P5 respectively as in other conferences in this document.
